Concert Cycles

Shortly after its founding in 1999, the International Dvořák Society began to organize the Musical Festival Vysočina, in cooperation with the non-profit organization Musica Proxima and with the regional government of Vysočina. Several years later, in 2004, IDS took over the organization of South Bohemia Musical Festival from the Association for Czech Music and Arts, and also began to organize monthly concerts for senior citizens in Prague 2, in cooperation with the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren at Korunní Street no. 60. The concerts take place in the afternoon of every first Tuesday of the month from October to June.

In 2007, the Czech Piano Music concert cycle consisted of five recitals by Radoslav Kvapil. The first concert of this series was held on March 13, 2007, in Rudolfinum, the next three concerts took place in the chapel of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren at Korunní Street no. 60, and the last event, on October 27, was again held in Rudolfinum.

Also in 2007, a cycle of five concerts called Zbiroh Musical Summer took place at the Zbiroh Castle.

Since 2006, all the concert series have been linked to the American Spring Festival.
