About Us

The International Dvořák Society is a non-profit organization (obecně prospěšná společnost), registered on June 10, 1999, at the Municipal Court in Prague in section O, insert 146.

The society aims to support and develop activities connected with the name of Antonín Dvořák and his followers both in the Czech Republic and abroad, particularly cultural festivals, concerts, master courses, artistic competitions and publishing endeavors.

The founder and the chairman of the board of directors is Radoslav Kvapil. The other two members of the board are Jan Kvapil and Radmila Všetečková.

The chairman of the supervisory board is Jana Veselá. The other two members of this board are Jan Makovička and Marcela Hovorková.

The executive director of the society is Jiřina Rybáčková.

The head of production is Eva Knappová.
